Check Out The Fruits Of My Studies On Jim Cooper's Voting Record...Is It What You Think?

My mission statement to you:

America, this Great Republic, is under attack from within, and I want my country back!  In my opinion, weak Republicans are mostly responsible for where we are today.  You cannot blame a Liberal for wanting to socialize this nation, that's what they do.  The Republicans were supposed to stand up against them for what is right.  THEY FAILED US!  I want to assist the conservatives in strengthening the Republican party.  We need to take back America from the current Marxist movement and Administration.  Together, we can.  Yes, WE can!

Where I Stand On General McChrystal

There are a number of aspects to consider in this situation.  First off, as someone who served in the U.S. Air Force, I understand that when you enlist, you essentially give up your Constitutionally protected rights in order to protect the Constitution and this great Republic.  That is reality.  You give up your freedom from search and seizure, your freedom to a fair and speedy trial, and your freedom of speech, to name a few.  So, don't cry for the General on First Amendment rights.

However, don't be quick to lambast the General, either.  A member of the military is not permitted to speak in an ill manner of our Commander In Chief (or in this case, our Community Organizer In Chief...but I digress).  If the General had given disparaging comments on the President's handling of the oil spill, his terrible fiscal policies, his dismal social views, his dismantling of our economy, or his propensity to lie, then he would be justified in his dismissal.

That, however, is not what we're dealing with.  We are dealing with a brave, intelligent, honorable individual who is fed up with a Commander In Chief who seems to have no concern for his demands and requests as the man responsible for prosecuting a major war for our nation's survival.  This General called out his boss, and correctly so, for not taking the interest in protecting our nation, that he swore an oath to protect, from our enemy.  The General did what he had to do, and essentially sacrificed his long, honorable, and distinguished military career; in order to shed light on the travesty that is happening at the hands of our inept and unengaged President.  For these reasons, this man has proven himself a hero for his sacrifice, in my opinion.

So, the Tarum verdict  ~  Obama - GUILTY!  Guilty of once again showing poor judgment and ill regard for our military and its leaders.  Of course, considering the fact that he can't even show up to show respect for our soldiers on Memorial Day, is anyone actually surprised?
